The person will be responsible for overall business strategy and development related to programs on United's websites related to booking engine features and fare shopping enhancements. Specific activities include strategic planning, business analysis, functional design, competitive assessment, tracking/reporting, post audits, and forecasting. The successful candidate is expected to lead the process of making recommendations and setting business requirements for overall functionality, navigation and other enhancements that meet the needs of the traveler and internal United stakeholders. This position is responsible for program delivery and is responsible for communicating the status of projects to corporate management and stakeholders throughout implementation. This individual will manage strategic partnerships, coordinate with technology project managers, external vendors and numerous internal stakeholders. This person should enjoy a challenging, fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and industry leading innovation. The successful candidate should posses excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, be a self-starter, and be effective at prioritization. * * * *Skill Set:* *. 5+ years business experience in eCommerce product development . Experience with airline booking and ticketing systems a plus (GDS - Global Distribution Systems: Galileo, Amadeus, Worldspan, Apollo, Sabre, etc.) . Good business analysis skills with experience in writing business requirements for new technology projects/products . Excellent planning, strategy, analytical skills and project management skills. . Strong experience in finance, marketing, e-commerce or strategic planning. .
