Position Description:
Experience Level: Bachelor's degree plus 5-7 years
Role Objective :
Participates in testing activities surrounding CICCT applications, a set of
applications built on varying technologies (.NET, Web Services).
Participates in the project life cycle, from analysis to production
implementation, with emphasis on data analysis, system testing, regression
testing, and auditable documentation of results.
The tester will be responsible for testing multiple applications within the
Community Bank, Internet & Contact Center Technologies Quality Assurance
group. The tester should have experience testing on a variety of
applications, such as Web based applications. In this role the QA
specialist will be focused on the automated regression testing of the
Business Payroll System (BPS) application, including the authoring of
regression test cases. The project team will consist of multiple remote
sites, including offshore.
Primary Role Deliverables :
Support test planning based on analysis of requirements and design
documents.
Execute systems, regression, and data quality testing to ensure all
development deliverables are production ready.
Write/maintain test case scripts and execute; document detailed
results and summary report.
Review automated test scripts using Mercury's Quick Test Professional
Multi-task between current release, install activities, and prioritize
task for next release
Monitor and resolve testing issues.
Manage testing tasks concurrently on multiple projects.
May coordinate the overall execution of the test plan with group and
business representatives.
May research production issues.
May act as technical resource to other testers.
Additional responsibilities as directed by either the QA Lead or
Management
Essential Skills / Knowledge / Experience:

3 - 5 years of systems analysis experience (at least 2 years in the
testing field)
At least 2 years of experience with development or testing.
Experience interfacing and coordinating with remote offshore teams
Experience with Mercury's Quality Center
Experience with Mercury's Quick Test Professional
Strong VBScript skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education/work
experience.
Experience with all types of testing including systems, data quality,
regression, and user acceptance.
Experience in creating test plans, cases, and scripts
Experience in business analysis techniques.
Experience with Web-based applications.
Experience building an automation framework.
Excellent oral and written communication with ability to effectively
work with onsite and remote teams.
Strong independent worker and an excellent team player.
Demonstrated problem analysis and problem solving skills in a
technical environment.
Knowledge of PC application software such as Microsoft Word, Excel,
Access, Visio, etc.
Ability to interface with all levels and across organizational lines.
Demonstrated success at building team relationships and partnerships
across organizational lines.
