Please send your resumes to [email protected] OBIEE Developer Boston, MA 3-6 Months Contract Description The Technical Lead is responsible for designing, implementing and supporting the application software components and technologies within the overall software solution. This includes providing insight and guidance on overall system design, as well as working with the development team and infrastructure providing technical direction and solving complex technical and application software issues. The technical lead is responsible for working with project leadership to set standards and execute development practices including code management, deployment, development, test and production environment management. This position requires someone who is hands-on with recent implementation experience with Oracle application development and business intelligence tools and technologies from both the application development and infrastructure perspective. Experience Required: At least 4 years of specialized experience in the design and implementation of reporting solutions with Oracle OBIEE technologies, with a high degree of maturity setting up and maintaining Oracle products on various platforms. At least 2 years experience in implementing web based BI solutions for internet, extranet and intranet At least 3 years experience implementing the above components leveraging Oracle reporting tools and technologies, including APEX, OBIEE, Oracle BPM, Web Center. Experience in designing and implementing infrastructure to support development and production of applications using oracle OBIEE, APEX, and BPM products. Experience in designing and implementing OBIEE and APEX in a highly available clustered environment. Experience in OBIEE and oracle technologies in a Linux environment Experience designing and developing public facing business intelligence sites, including portals, dashboards, basic reports (charts, graphs, maps, drill downs) and advanced reports (ad-hoc reporting). Experience in web technologies including weblogic web and application servers Experience in javascript and java technologies a significant plus Experience in developing map based reports with OBIEE and Oracle map viewer a plus Experience in building applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX) a plus Experience in multi-dimensional databases including Oracle Essbase a plus Proven effective execution experience in high visibility, high criticality programs with multiple stakeholders both within and outside of the client organization State and or federal government experience helpful, but not mandatory Skills Required: Design, implement, and support business intelligence and application solution using Oracle OBIEE and APEX products. Good mentorship skills and ability to work in a team environment supporting technical and project aspects of team leadership and growth Strong communication and documentation skills, ability to communicate and interact at executive and junior levels Consistent attention to detail Overall high degree of professionalism Description of Project: The purpose of this project is to assist the Commonwealth of Massachusetts with reporting, analytics and integration of information related to the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). Major components of this multi-phased effort include the following: Data sourcing from multiple agencies, sub-recipients, and vendors involved with ARRA related programs Staging, validation and transformation of data provided by the aforementioned organizations Centralization and organization of data for optimized reporting, analytics, and overall transparency Submission of data to regulators and attainment of federally mandated reporting accuracy and transparency requirements Expansion of capabilities beyond federally mandated reporting & transparency requirements in the interest of further informing the residents of Massachusetts, and increasing the overall execution efficiency and effectiveness of ARRA projects performed within the Commonwealth Design, implementation, and management of public and internal facing web based reporting.
