In this capacity, qualified candidate should possess: Commercial experience and in-depth technical expertise on Java client side and server side programming. Ability to understand, develop and communicate details of software architecture at multiple abstraction levels or views points, including Use Case / Story, Static and Dynamic Views. Extensive project experience - designing, coding and deploying enterprise-level Java/J2EE projects. Experience with UML design. Deliverable experience must include use cases, sequence, class, state transition and activity diagrams. Conceptual and practical understanding of full project lifecycle, including requirements analysis, object oriented analysis, architectural design, object oriented design. Experience with Iterative development using Agile Methodologies. Detail knowledge of standard development patterns. Experience in designing and developing new models, frameworks, components, etc. Experience promoting code consistency, coding standards, performance, data modeling standards, security checks, etc Solid grasp on Java/J2EE technologies such as: Open source frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate and Struts Swing and/or Google Web Toolkit Web (JSP, Servlet, JSP Custom Tags, Applets) Enterprise JavaBeans Web Services (XML, SOAP, WSDL, UDDI) Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) Java Transaction API (JTA) Platform Services (Security, Transactions, Resource Connections) Encryption/Certificates/Mutual Authentication Languages & Markup: Java, PL/SQL, XML, HTML, JavaScript Operating Systems: UNIX DB: Oracle 10g Experience Required: Applies extended expertise of principles theories and concepts plus in depth knowledge of business/function and development life cycle..
