ROLE: JAVA / J2EE LEAD DEVELOPER LOCATION : SAN FRANCISCO,CA DURATION: ONE YEAR Position Description: 1. Lead Developer role on two or more high-volume transaction application through the entire software lifecycle from requirements to support. 2. Developing and communicating design and coding best practices and design patterns for use across projects. 3. Collaborating with business groups and CIT security architects to identify and define security and privacy issues related to IT infrastructure, data, COTS applications, and in-house applications. 4. With minimal supervision, translating business requirements into technical designs. 5. Developing, testing, and deploying complex IT security solutions to ensure proprietary/confidential data and systems are protected. 6. Serving as a technical lead for larger IT security projects, when necessary. 7. Supporting and troubleshooting production systems as required optimizing security performance and reliability. 8. Working with security vendors and managing Proof-of-Concept (POC) and tool evaluations. 9. Working closely with Operations to deploy and integrate new IT security solution into the existing infrastructure. Skills: Qualifications (What business / technical skills must this resource have): 1. Minimum 5 years development experience in Java/J2EE, including JSP, JDBC, JMS, JCA, JSSE, XML, XSLT, JDBC, Servlets, Ant, JUnit, Struts, custom tags, and JavaScript. JAAS experience is a plus. 2. Must have experience in the following: Netegrity Siteminder, Ping Federate 3. BEA WebLogic platform. 4. Oracle 8/9i database system. 5. C/C++ added plus.. 6. Web Services, SOAP, SSL, UDDI, WSDL, SOA architecture. 7. Experience with SDLC process, RUP, and UML modeling. 8. Ability to mentor junior application developers. 9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Education: Education / Training or Instruction Required: 1. BS Computer Science or equivalent.
