The resources will be divided geographically: 2 – Atlanta, GA 7 – San Antonio, TX General Description The Morehouse College of Medicine REC project will build an application that will allow Regional Extension Centers (REC) like Morehouse to scale non-linearly as they offer technical assistance, guidance, and information on best practices to support and accelerate health care providers’ efforts to become meaningful users of Electronic Health Records (EHRs). The solution will leverage Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, ASP.NET 2.0, Web Parts, C#, Workflow Foundation, and SQL Server. The solution integrates with other systems for enablement and procurement of hardware and software. The resource should have good communication skills, be able to integrate well with the team, and experience working under a formal software development methodology. Duration 3-6 months Start Date: 5/24/2010 (ideal) some ramp up of resources through the end of May End Date: 8/31/2010 (some resources will extend through Feb 2011) Developer Role Developers will be responsible for reviewing functional designs, developing technical designs based on the functional designs, writing code, fixing defects, and participating in deployment activities. Developers should be proficient with ASP.NET 2.0, MOSS, Web Parts, and C#.
