*Position : MS Active directory EXPERT!* *Location: Columbia, MD* *Length: 2-3 months* *Rate: Open* *This candidate will need to be a MS Active Directory expert, including domain trusts, etc. The project assigned to this position is to implement a QA and Development domain alongside the existing production domain. They will build these domains from the ground up, server HW install, etc.*** Identifies, researches and pilots new technologies. Responsible for the development and construction of architectural components. Creates the construction of architecture components. Defines architecture standards and anticipate areas where architecture standards may need to be developed that are in-line with customer, IT and industry standards. Assists in the definition of business and IT recovery operating environment. Monitors usage of architectural components and assumes responsibility for reuse. Monitors service requirements, components capacities and loads. Conducts feasibility studies to determine how an application should conform to the current and target architecture blueprint. Maintains the security architecture design and monitors compliance with policies and procedures. Designs and is accountable for SLAs/OLAs with internal and external organizations. Directs projects to identify enterprise level technology and architectural standards, guidelines, principles, frameworks, and reference models. Works with business units to translate business strategy into discrete requirements compatible with current technical architectures. Identifies technical and architectural areas of opportunity for improvement. Pro-actively defines and designs technical and architectural proposals to improve enterprise architectures and supporting technologies. Evaluates and selects from existing and emerging technologies the options that best fit business and IT strategic needs. Presents analysis and recommendations to senior leadership on emerging technologies. Defines systems, technical and application architectures for new strategic initiatives. Develop and maintain an architectural blueprint and evolutionary roadmap that defines and communicates the strategic direction for these architectures in support of business and technical strategies. Contributes technical expertise to enterprise programs and projects. Evangelizes architecture and technical strategies, a EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Requires BA/BS degree in computer or information science discipline; 5 years experience in information technology including 3 years experience in architecture/design; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Four years experience in health care industry preferred. SKILLS: Excellent technical and computer skills required. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills required.
