Requirement (1):

Position: Web sphere Portal Developer/Architect

Location: North Brook, IL

Duration:  End of the year

 

DUTIES:

 

This role includes providing technical stewardship of enterprise portal 
environments, support, problem determination, change management, release 
management, performance analysis, environment design and operation of large, 
complex Portal solutions leveraging IBM's Web sphere Portal running on IBM's 
Web sphere J2EE platform. 

This person will communicate with a wide range of client, application, 
architectural, and systems personnel. 

The engineer will ensure conformance to established system architecture, 
methods, regulations, standards and practices and participate in their 
creation. 

Also, participate in long range planning and ensure those plans are consistent 
with business objectives for resiliency, disaster tolerance, and regulatory 
compliance.

The engineer will also be responsible for ensuring effective implementation of 
application code aimed at ensuring efficient and highly available production 
applications. 

Design and develop techniques for effective implementation and continual 
release management disciplines. 

Improve documentation, templates and processes. 

The engineer must be able to analyze and problem solve complex technical issues 
with minimal supervision, and work within a team environment while 
communicating well to a diverse set of colleagues.

 

Qualifications:

 

Java-J2ee, Web Sphere Portal 6, Java Script, Oracle, Rational Toolset, RAD, 
Requite Pro, Unix, SQL Server, Tibco, Eclipse, Solaris, C, Clear Case, Clear 
Quest, JUNIT, Portlet Development, SOA

 

This is for Panduit and we need to submit by end of day Thursday, said they 
will interview on Friday and want candidates to start on Tuesday, June 1st.

Position: Oracle DBA

Location: North Brook, IL

Duration:  End of the year

 

Looking for an Oracle DBA consultant to provide daily support on Oracle 
production and test databases of Oracle eBusiness Applications and help for the 
migration HP to AIX project. 

Prefer to support Microsoft SharePoint & Project as well.

 

Consultants Responsibility:

 

Proactive monitoring, alerting and problem resolution for our production Oracle 
10g database systems of Oracle eBusiness applications, Applying patches, 
installing Oracle software installation. 

(Request support for the same in our test environment). 

A secondary responsibility is for the same services on our production and test 
Microsoft SQL Server databases for MS SharePoint and MS Project.

 

Work Phases and Detailed service scope description:

 

DBA requirements:

 

Minimum 7+ Years Oracle DBA experience and working in Oracle eBusiness 
Applications environments.

Must have experience with Oracle Database 10g and eBusiness Suite Applications 
11.5.10.2 

Application modules include full suite of manufacturing, advanced supply chain, 
finance, purchasing, order management, service, pricing, warehouse, including 
RF units on MWA Must have worked in UNIX (Preferred HP UNIX 11.11) and Linux 
environment.

Must have production database support experience and used Oracle MetaLink for 
SRs Knowledge and experience of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 is a preferred 
secondary skill
