*****Immediately Needed A Consultant***** Business Analyst Location : Washington, DC Duration : 6+ Months Contract Description: Work closely with the business PM and assist with a variety of analysis and project management tasks. Communicate with Business, Technology and Data teams to ensure that business needs are thoroughly understood and addressed. Assist with defining requirements, performing process and data analysis, identifying gaps and dependencies, writing detailed test scripts, conducting integrated and UAT phases of testing and preparing project-related documentation. Strong business and communication skills, both verbal and written are required. Technical understanding of Web-based applications is required. Ability to extract and analyze data, including understanding of SQL statements, knowledge of Access and Excel is required. Familiarity with the data warehousing environment including Oracle databases in particular is highly desirable. Ability to develop PowerPoint presentations is required. Knowledge of Microsoft Visio is a plus. Must have ability to organize and self-manage assigned duties. Project Management skills and familiarity with SDLC is highly desirable. Familiarity with Fannie Mae business fundamentals and terminology, especially HCD, is highly desirable. Familiarity with general mortgage industry and finance fundamentals and terminology is a plus.
