*****Immediately Needed A Consultant***** Manual Tester Duration : 6+ months Contract Location : Herndon, VA Required: 10 or more years of relevant work experience testing software during development phase. Resume must show increasing responsibility over that time. Demonstrated ability to work independently to assess and complete necessary tasks without significant oversight. Project(s) in previous 18 months must include hands-on manual testing of web-based application(s). Superior verbal and written communication skills required. A writing sample may be requested. Strong problem solving and analysis skills required and must be described on resume. Preference for agile development experience, must be at least one year and supported by projects described on resume. Demonstrated ability to interact closely with all projects roles -- developers, analysts, testers and managers. Experience providing accurate, concise written status reports Expertise with Quality Center required (5+ years). Experience with Oracle, UNIX, Weblogic, Previous Fannie Mae experience preferred, or in depth knowledge of mortgage industry. Based in Herndon, VA with occasional travel to DC offices required.
