*I am looking for a certified VMWare Engineer for a company in Boston. The
rate is open and the duration is 6 months.*
*Requirements: *
• Strong experience working with VMware vSphere technologies, specifically
in the areas of P2V and V2V migrations, vMotion, Storage vMotion, DRS and
HA. (Candidates with VCP4 preferred)
• Experience with vCLI scripting as related to ESX host administration a
plus.
• Working knowledge of Enterprise SAN architecture, protocols, and best
practices (HP, NetApp)
• Working knowledge of Enterprise LAN/WAN network architecture, protocols,
and best practices (Cisco certification or equivalent a plus)
• Experience administering Windows Server 2K+ and Linux (certifications a
plus)
• Experience administering SQL Server 2005
• Experience trouble shooting multi-tier environments
• Experience with Enterprise monitoring systems (Nagios a plus)
• Strong technical, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Must be able to
interface with all team members (technical and non-technical)
• Self-motivated with outstanding organization and attention to detail.
• Experience working with teams in different time zones and coordinating
duties to coincide with global operation schedules.
• Research, Pharmaceutical & FDA regulated experience a plus
