*6+ Months* ** *Start date: immediate. * There will be phone screen prior to F2F, so as local to Denver as possible would be best. * * *Must-haves * ** -3-6 years Weblogic or Websphere application usage, app deployment and troubleshooting -3-6 years JVM tuning experience (know how to stage and push) -Basic understanding of J2EE architecture components (JDBC, JMS, JMX) -3-6 years Unix and Solaris box troubleshooting -3-6 years Scripting experience (i.e. korn, shell, bash, perl) -Excellent written and oral communication skills -Ticketing system experience -In-depth understanding and troubleshooting of OSI model layers 1-7 -Previous working experience in a large scale enterprise system environment (IP routing, TCP traffic analysis, DNS, DHCP, SQL/RDB backend systems) -Must know CDV Provisioning * * *Plusses * -Remedy ticketing system experience -Troubleshooting experience with J2EE application server products (JBoss, Websphere, Tomcat) * * *Day-to-Day * On a daily basis this system engineer will be monitoring incoming trouble tickets for problems with Weblogic applications and Unix and Solaris boxes; so a thorough knowledge of both software and hardware troublshooting is necessay. This position will focus specifically on incident tracking. When trouble tickets come in from the Remedy ticketing system the system analyst will be expected to document the ticket precisely, identify the root cause, create the bridge for the troubleshooting process and follow the ticket until resolution.
