Job Title : SAP Business Objects - Data Integrator Role Location: First 3 months in Wilmington, DE and then till Dec end in Wichita, KS Duration: 7 months Selection Process: Phone Position Description: . The Data Integrator Professional will work directly with the Information Delivery team. . The role is primarily to help provide data from different SAP boxes and modules to SQL Server databases in a timely fashion. . This is critical to the development and delivery of data warehousing and business intelligence projects on a global enterprise basis. . Participate as a member of a Global support team . SAP Business Objects Data Integrator . Installation and version upgrade of Data Integrator and web interface . Creation of complex jobs that get data from various SAP boxes/modules/objects into SQL Server databases with appropriate data transformations. . Proficiency in SAP and its various modules and objects. . Monitor jobs and job performance. . Trouble-shoot errors and/or unfinished/hung jobs. . Error Handling in SAP and Data Integrator . SQL Server knowledge . Should know the table/view structures, indexes, etc. and should be able to use management studio to run interactive procedures when necessary. . Should understand how security is implemented in SQL Server. . Creating tables/views/stored procedures needed for the data transfers. Experience preferred: . Proficiency in SAP, Business Objects, Data Integrator . SQL Server 2005/2008 Expectations: · Ensure all jobs run on time and meet the SLA requirements. · Maintain documentation of all the jobs as appropriate. · Perform Data Integrator upgrades · Create new jobs/rapid marts based on requirements. · Perform job/rapid mart modifications as necessary. · Ensure jobs are fine tuned for performance and run optimally. · Troubleshoot and resolve any outstanding problems and data issues. · Provide consultation and assistance for non-SAP team members Thanks and Regards Rama Chokkam Palette IT Solutions.
