* Microstrategy Architect* Location: Reston VA Duration: 6++ months Candidate will be responsible for helping Fannie Mae implement MicroStrategy 9.x and operationalize the technology for broader use by internal applications. Job Responsibilities: • MicroStrategy 9.x Platform Administration, Support, and Troubleshooting. • Installing, configuring, Maintaining and administering MicroStrategy environments on Windows and UNIX platforms. • Strong administration of MicroStrategy Intelligence and Web servers across multiple environments. • Tuning the System for best performance and monitoring the system usage. • Defining and implementing best practices for o Microstrategy object migrations between environments and aligned with internal processes and toolsets. o Monitoring of Microstrategy and supporting agreed on customer SLAs and internal control processes. o Establishing Disaster Recovery capabilities for supporting SLAs • Maintaing users/user groups and setting up user security and integration with LDAP. • Upgrading the MicroStrategy from one version to another and also applying the Hotfixes for that particular release. • Metadata and Project backup maintenance Required Skills / Qualifications: • 5+ years of Hands-on development and Support experience with MicroStrategy products to include: Comprehensive knowledge of the MicroStrategy tool suites (I-Server, Architect, Desktop, Enterprise Manager, Web, Distribution, OLAP Services and Report Services, Object Manager, Integrity Manager...). • At least 4 years of Full Business Intelligence development life cycle experience • At least 4 years experience planning, deploying, administering, and/or maintaining multi-tier Business Intelligence solutions in a multi-terabyte, 200+ user, Fortune 1000 corporate environment • At least 4 years Business Intelligence and/or Data Warehousing development experience • At least 4 years experience with MicroStrategy performance and scalability design and testing • At least 4 years of VLDB experience with relational databases such as Netezza, TeraData, Oracle, DB2 or SQL Server • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative, fast paced environment • Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience with MSTR SDK a plus. -- Thanks & Regards, Tommy jibin Technical Recruiter Hi-range Technologies Ltd 906 Lacey Avenue Suite 106 Lisle; Illinois:60532 Ph: 630 929 5198 Fax: 630-969-2722 www.hirange.net [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
