We need a Windows Admin with virtual server experience (specifically
VMWare). *This candidate must be local because they need to face-to-face
interview immediately and start next week. *Our client is in Boston, MA .
The contract is an initial 6 months plus possible 3 month extension.

*Perform day-to-day administrative support for Windows and VMWare
environments. The ideal candidate has strong Windows Server administrative
background and proven experience in proactively analyzing and resolving
software and hardware problems in an extremely faced-paced environment.
Job Requirements:*
*· **Strong experience in Windows 2003 with Windows 2008 a plus*
*· **Active Directory Skills*
*· **Install & Configure Windows servers.*
*· **Patch management*
*· **VMWare experience, v3.x and v4.x*
*· **Experience trouble shooting multi-tier environments*
*· **Experience developing and managing images for provisioning*
*· **Experience with monitoring tools (ex: Groundworks)*
*· **Experience with data protection software (eg CommVault)*
*· **Windows failover clustering & load balancing a plus*
*· **Citrix experience a plus*
*· **5+ years experience in a 300+ server environment*
*· **Excellent communication skills both written and verbal*
*· **Self-motivated with outstanding troubleshooting experience*
