Location: MN ** The SSIS, SSRS, etc is a nice to have for the immediate project (starting this week or next). More pressing need on immediate project is on performance tuning, sql server 2008, and exp with large volumes of data, database mirroring a plus. ** *Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* · Able to design and implement complex and robust technical solutions which are scalable and manageable. · Competent and proficient in the use of programming tools, techniques and languages: o Visual Studio (2005) o SQL Server Management Studio o SQL Server Integration Services o SQL Server Analysis Services o SQL Server Reporting Services o SQL Server T-SQL o OLTP processing and methodologies · Can document own work according to documentation standards with little or no supervision required. · Can clearly explain problems and issues to clients and contribute to their resolution. · Can effectively disseminate technical information to team members. · Ability to work to strict deadlines under considerable pressure. · Ability to take ownership of problems and resolve them in complex, cross functional situations involving many stakeholders. · Excellent presentation and written communication skills. · Proven organizational and co-ordination skills. · Experience of collaborative working and building working partnerships · Able to work effectively as part of a wider team. *Qualifications/Education:* · Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Business Administration or 3-5 years of directly related experience. · 3-5+ years experience with Database Management concepts, languages, tools and technologies. · Training and experience with Database Management tools (including SQL Server Analysis Services and MDX). · Familiarity with Relational Databases and SQL · Experience managing processes in a distributed personnel environment. · Ability to process and transform data from a variety of sources in a variety of formats. · Ability to perform Quality Assessment of large quantities of data. · Develop methods for integrating different products so they work properly together, such as customizing commercial databases to fit specific needs. · Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project. · Review procedures in database management system manuals for making changes to database. · Work as part of a project team to coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations. · Identify and evaluate industry trends in database systems to serve as a source of information and advice for upper management. · Revise company definition of data as defined in data dictionary. · Self-motivated. · Demonstrated Problem Solving abilities ** -- Regards, Shankar 248-522-6879 Technology consultanst inc -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
