Vendors-
We are asking a select few vendors to step up to the plate and help get
Req#1551: Software Engineer CSS - RTH filled, ASAP. Each of you has
received this message because you have been requested to help.
Successful candidates must be able to do design work in a fast paced
environment, where there will not be a lot of hand holding.
- Work with the technology project teams to guide the design of new
applications to support GSI business needs.
- Create and present solution alternatives.
- Create architecture plans and design documents.
- Develop and enhance CSS application code based on project documentation
including written requirements, flow diagrams, UI design and data designs.
- Participate in requirements definition.
- Assist in the estimation of work for the CSS projects by defining task
breakdown, project duration and concurrent effort.
- Assist in production escalation and problem resolution.
- Function independently with project assignments and with minimal
supervision.
- Exhibit a process-oriented mindset.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years demonstrated development experience with Java, J2EE, JSP,
JavaScript, and HTML
- 2+ years of experience with Call Center-specific application.
- Knowledge of SQL commands and experience with PL/SQL is required
- Experience with and in-depth understanding of OO concepts.
- Prior experience in CRM software application development, specifically
with Epiphany 6.x Sales and Service module is desired.
- Knowledge and experience with Windows environment.
- Prior experience with and understanding of messaging services like MQ &
JMS is desired.
- Experience developing in Perl is a plus.
- Experience in collaborative teams using revision control systems such
as CVS.
- Strong attention to detail, good communications skills, and a positive
attitude.
- Demonstrable experience managing dynamic projects on tight schedules.
- Ability to be self motivated and deliver projects on time with minimal
supervision.
- Advanced Java development experience is desired.
- Candidate will support in flight projects, store setups, and
*possibly*additional Epiphany related work
- Candidate must have general knowledge of call centers
- Candidate should have a basic understanding of OO
