*I am looking for a Technical Systems Analyst with Mainframe experience.

*Length: 3+ months (most like will go longer than 6 months)*
*Location: Rocky Mount, NC*
*Interview schedule: Phone screen first, then face to face interview.*
· Will be conducting maintenance work. on production support
initiatives. Possibly working on multiple projects
· Previous experience with credit card applications required
· Experience at Bank of New York (Melon or PNC) is a plus
· Solid COBOL experience
· Online experience with CICS
· Should be aware of mainframe tools – Changeman, expediter or an
equivalent testing tool
· IBM/JCL
· Knowledge of procs – would be considered an asset
· VSAM file structures is a requirement
· Knowledge of ISPF is a requirement
· Knowledge of synscsort/iceman
· Banking experience would be considered an asset
· 10 years minimum work experience as an advances technical systems
analyst
· Experience working on credit card projects would be an asset
· Experience with Motivator (rewards based package) would be
considered an asset
· MQ Series - (middleware messaging software) would be considered
an asset
· *Knowledge/ Experience:*
-B.S. in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent
-10+ years programming experience in an IBM Mainframe environment.
-Experience with application development in the banking industry preferred.
-Candidate must possess a high degree of knowledge in COBOL, CICS, MVS JCL,
TSO / ISPF.
-Experience coding in Assembler, Easytrieve and SyncSort is desired but not
required.
-Demonstrated ability to multi-task.
-Excellent communications skills.
-Ability to work in a team oriented environment.
