*Position : healthcare manual tester - EAD, GREEN CARD/CITIZEN needeed* *Location: Indianapolis, IN* *LENGTH: 6 MONTHS* *Rate: $40/HR* *Manual Tester needed for FEP WAW Project. (this is a telecom project - IVR) Candidates for this position will have extensive manual testing experience. The responsibilities will include: • Reviewing use cases, supplemental artifacts, and wireframes to write test cases and test scripts. The candidate must be capable of documenting requirements in Microsoft Excel and, preferably, in Rational Quality Manager (RQM). • Identifying all appropriate test scenarios and building step-level test scripts. • Communicating with business analysts, system integration testers and user acceptance testers, developers, and Operations staff to review and modify test cases and test scripts. • Executing test cases and test scripts, recording actual results and pass/fail results. • Analyzing and documenting defects in ClearQuest. • Communicating with developers to ensure defects are corrected. • Re-testing defects and modifying or closing defects as necessary. • Compiling and reporting test execution metrics, test case development metrics, and defect metrics. Minimum Skill Requirements: • Proficient with manual test planning, test case development, test execution experience, and defect management. • Looking for someone who takes initiative and ownership and follow-ups without prompting. • Excellent oral and written communications skills Preferred Skills: • Experience with Rational Quality Manager • Experience with ClearQuest for defect management • Experience writing automated test cases in Rational Functional Tester* Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
