*Overview:*
The Sr. SQL DBA will be conducting an SQL Migration Work (excluding
Reporting Data Warehouse) and DBA Assessment work.

*Requirements:*
1. Must have 7+ yrs of production support & operations of SQL
Server 2005-2008,
*2008 is a HUGE PLUS * RDBM’s including: { *Configure, implement,
Migrate/Merge replication in a Clustered environment*}
*2. **Ability to migrate from SQL Server 2000 and 2005 to SQL Server
2008*
1. migrate SQLAgent jobs,
2. maintenance plans,
3. SSIS packages
*3. **Ability to build and execute test plans for migration*
4. Solid understanding of:
a. Backup/Recovery Strategies,
b. Indexing & performance Tuning,
c. Data Migration,
d. Security,
e. Capacity Planning
5. Position requires routinely looking beyond what is requested to
create greater value and process efficiency
6. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the
organization.
7. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and
effective communicator (sales oriented in approach).
8. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of
this project
