POS: Sr. Oracle Infrastructure DBA - Lead/Architect LOC: Houston, TX Duration: Long Term *This person must have "Oracle 10g on Solaris to Oracle 11g on Linux" upgrade/migration experience.* This will be one of the best guys that exist since the client has some of the best in the business already. In this role you will be responsible to be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Oracle 11g upgrade (from oracle 10g) and migration to x86/Linux (or Exadata) platform. This role requires close partnership with Application Development/Build teams, Central Testing Team, Operate and Shared Service DBAs providing the technical leadership with an hands-on approach for complex upgrade/migration related issues, requiring deeper skills.
