Job Title: Sr. Oracle PL/SQL Developer
Location: Seattle, WA.
Duration: 5+ Months
This position is responsible for:
* Performing advanced requirements analysis, design, development and
software testing
* Providing technical leadership and technical review for designing and
implementing custom applications using Oracle databases and tools in the
energy sector.
* Developing Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, Functions, Packages, Triggers,
Object Types, Views, SQL scripts to facilitate the functionality for various
modules.
* Developing complex SQL queries.
Looking for:
* Lead team engineer with a proven track record of providing technical
design/implementation/integration of custom applications.
* An energetic self-starter with excellent analytical and organizational
skills.
* Someone who achieves goals, objectives and milestones in an accurate and
consistent manner.
* Someone who has the ability to look at the big picture as well as the
ability to drill down in the detail as well.
* A lead engineer with the ability to look at things not only from a
technical perspective but also from a business/stakeholder perspective.
All candidates must meet the following skill set requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or
equivalent work experience.
* 2-3 years experience leading a small development team of 5 or fewer
developers
* 10 plus years of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, SQL*Plus experience.
* 2 - 3 years experience working with:
-TOAD
-DevTrack
-Query performance tuning
* Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to take end-to-end ownership of tasks in a multi-technology
environment
* Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are a must.
* Ability to write professional and technical documents and procedures is a
must.
* Ability to make formal and informal presentations to technical and
non-technical staff and customers.
* Ability to occasionally work non-standard hours to accommodate business
needs.
