The EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse) in JCI Power Solutions provides analytics and supports decision making across Sales, Manufacturing, Finance and Forecasting functions. *Responsibilities* Design and develop Datawarehousing and Business Intelligence solutions in a dynamic environment Engage with multiple user groups and gather analytics and reporting requirements Define technical requirements for enhancements to the datawarehouse, new reporting solutions and expanded analytics Develop reports, dashboards and other analytical tools for user groups Provide strategic consulting to business groups on datawarehousing and business intelligence Manage project tasks effectively and provide active support to project managers in estimation, risk management and issue resolution Follow project timelines of interfaces; communicate requirements to interface teams effectively Maintain appropriate documentation, traceability and configurations; follow record retention policies Integrate quality practices in all aspects of technology delivery Execute tasks in all phases of SDLC Requirements *Technology Skills and Experience:* Strong knowledge of database and datawarehousing concepts (preferably in Oracle) Experience in dimensional modeling and relational database design Experience in developing and maintaining large and complex datawarehouses Strong knowledge of ETL tools (Datastage preferred) BO Universe development experience (3+ years) Webi report development experience (3+ years); and ability to work effectively with BO XI server Extensive experience in implementing reports and dashboards, integration with SAP BW InfoProviders and Enterprise Portals Experience in writing technical specifications, test plans and validation checklists Strong understanding of infrastructure requirements Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL and DML tools *Experience in the following areas:* OLAP business feasibility analysis Multi-dimensional design reviews Business Intelligence tool selection Business model prototyping Database tuning and optimization Platform migration Experience in production support environment Cognos Powerplay experience desirable Proven implementation and problem-solving experience including troubleshooting, performance tuning and resolving connectivity issue *Other Skills:* Strong communication and inter-personal skills; ability to work effectively with offsite and offshore teams Ability to work in a matrix environment with multiple IT and user groups Problem-solving skills Ability to navigate technology and organizational issues to complete project tasks *Education:* Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business or comparable field 5-7 years of experience in developing Business Intelligence solutions 7-10 years of experience in application development and deployment *If you are interested with the above opening please send the below information ASAP* *Email me a copy of your updated WORD formatted resume with the below details….* 1.
