Phone, then F2F JOB DESCRIPTION: *Responsibilities: * * * The position will be responsible for integration testing of order-routing systems, market data and reference data application. - Create, execute, maintain and enhance test documents and testing scripts - Perform detailed feature and regression tests - Report, record, and re-verify defects - Will be responsible for retail applications automation testing *Technical Skills Required/Desired: * * * The position requires hands-on integration testing skills on UNIX-/Linux based applications on a client-server type architecture as well as Java based front end User Interface testing, preferably on Trading and Order Routing applications and some on Market Data systems. - 5-6 years minimum testing experience. - The ability to document testing procedures, test cases and test results - Analytical skills to investigate and trouble-shoot application failures and communicate issues to team leads and developers. - Solid hands on experience of performing manual functional/system tests, knowledge of installation and configuration to set up testing environment. - Good working knowledge on Software Development Life Cycle and Integration testing methodologies and procedures. - Ability to trace through various app logs to trouble shoot is required - Excellent communication and written skills are essential - Basic understanding of automation methodologies - FIX protocol, CMS protocol, UNIX, Sybase, PERL, Shell scripting - Financial Industry, particularly Equities, Options trading knowledge required. *Priority* § 5-6 Years testing experience including manual and automated. § E*TRADE utilizes a proprietary internally-developed Test Automation Tool. § Strong UNIX/Linux Shell Scripting and SQL experience. § Experience with Trading and Order Routing applications. *If you are interested with the above opening please send the below information ASAP* *Email me a copy of your updated WORD formatted resume with the below details….* 1.
