Duration: 4 months Location: Herndon, VA Need is for one more contractor with understanding of counterparty and credit risk management systems and ratings data an asset, can work in both UNIX and Windows environments, Java, J2EE, and .NET application experience an asset. *IT Support Specialist II+ provides support for medium-to-high complexity applications. May create and develop software solutions to application errors reported. Carries a pager and responds to production requests, escalating unresolved issues as needed to proper personnel. Provides senior-level end-user support, which may include: providing systems administration assistance, coordinating stakeholder discussions, updating user documentation or conducting training. The primary focus of this position is first-tier production support of RiskNet/RatingsNet and FRAME applications. However, the role will also include some participation in analysis, QA, and deployment phases of maintenance releases. Skills and experience: * 7+ years of industry experience * Must also have Mortgage industry experience. - Understanding of counterparty and credit risk management systems and ratings data an asset. * Fannie Mae production support experience preferred - Experience with Remedy, ClearQuest, and Remedy * Previous expreience with the RiskNet or RatingsNet system would be a major asset * Experience supporting Microsoft business intelligence stack would be an asset (SSIS, SQL Server, SSAS, SharePoint workflows and portals, etc.) * Can work in both UNIX and Windows environments * Autosys scheduling and job management * Strong follow-through, initiative to stay with issues until they are resolved, along with discipline and tenacity to meet deadlines. * Demonstrated abilities with scripting languages, setting up testing environments, creating test suites, and working with databases * Ability to multi-task and provide support to production users and multiple development teams across concurrent project tasks. * Excellent teamwork and communication skills, along with good customer focus. * Java, J2EE, and .NET application experience an asset * Experience in testing batch interfaces or systems integration an asset* Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
