Additionally, the analyst is responsible for taking requirements from clients and internal product management and while working with the Web Application Architect refining and translating them into detailed design specifications that support the overall product strategy. The Technical/Business Analyst will work with clients as well as stakeholders from several business units to ensure functionality meets the needs of our client base. *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES* Analysis and Solution Definition * Quickly understands the business issues and data challenges of client's organization and industry. * Identifies client organization's strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement. * Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution. * Develops functional specifications and system design specifications for client engagements. * Mapping software requirements against existing systems capabilities. *Technical Recommendation* * Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner. * Works with client personnel to identify required changes. * Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. * Communicates needed changes to development team. * Actively manages scope and budget on projects. *Project Execution* * Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules. * Takes input from supervisor and appropriately and accurately applies comments/feedback. * Communicates and applies project standards. * Manages resources in accordance with project schedule. * Consistently delivers high-quality services to our clients. * Understands the components of running a fiscally successful project. *Communication* * Assists in the facilitation of team and client meetings. * Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: (Functional requirements, Use Cases, Data Exchange Interfaces specification). * Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs. * Delivers informative, well-organized presentations. * Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully. * Advising developers during implementation of the requirements. *Technical Understanding* * Possesses understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design. * Understands Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server architectures. * Understands how legacy and web-based systems interface with each other. *Problem Solving * * Identifies critical issues with ease. * Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. * Exhibits confidence and an extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices when solving business problems. * Pushes creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices and client mindsets. *Experience* * Possesses Web and/or software development experience. * Experience in business and system analysis for process improvement. * Familiar with JAD/RAD development methodology. * Extensive experience working closely with interdisciplinary stakeholders (marketing, business, design, research, finance, engineering, customer support, etc). * Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. * Strong project management skills. *Leadership and Teamwork* * Generates enthusiasm among team members. * Proactively seeks opportunities to serve in leadership roles. * Manages the process of innovative change. * Facilitates effective team interaction. * Acknowledges and appreciates each team member's contributions. *Client Management* * Develops relationships with client personnel that foster client ties. * Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with project management. * Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships. * Manages client expectations effectively. *Internal Operations* * Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions. * Leads internal teams/task forces. *If you are interested with the above opening please send the below information ASAP* *Email me a copy of your updated WORD formatted resume with the below details….* 1.
