Seeking resources with strong experience in PeopleSoft application
migrations to a host environment.
Consultant should have experience facing clients earlier.
*Daily responsibilities include:*
* *
- Inventory source environment and develop plan of migrating to Client’s
hosting
environment
- Install, administer and maintain all PeopleSoft architecture tiers
(Tuxedo Application
server, Weblogic Web servers, Linux Process Schedulers and the Oracle
10/11G
databases) on PT8.4X.
- Install and configure PeopleSoft environment 3rd party tools (Tuxedo,
Weblogic1,
Nvision, Crystal Reports, etc).
- Develop procedures related to technology and architecture components
(backup, change
control, data control, etc).
- Provide break/fix support for PeopleSoft objects, SQRs, COBOLs, and
reports
- Investigate and resolve performance issues across all tiers of
architecture
*Required Skills *
* *
Migration of PeopleSoft environments to a different landscape
Ability to install, from scratch, and configure/tune all tiers (web, app,
db) of a PeopleSoft environment.
Experience with delivered and 3rd party Batch scheduling tools
Ability to provide requirements to infrastructure support teams, including
requirements to Linux admins for file system and accounts. And Ability to
provide requirements to network teams for firewall requests
Experience with break/fix support for PeopleSoft objects, SQRs, COBOLs, and
reports
