Top-notch San Diego company is seeking multiple Business Analysts
Business Analyst:
Position Summary: The Business Analyst works within project teams and with
business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and translate business requirements
into documentation and conceptual design from which technical solutions are
developed. The Business Analyst is an active participant in all phases of a
project lifecycle and will be required to work closely with a variety of
stakeholders to ensure that all business requirements are understood,
documented, and met.
Essential Functions:
1.. Research, analyze, and recommend solutions which meet the business needs
for new projects. Interface with business users and technical staff to
translate business user requirements into technical documentation such as use
cases, process diagrams, functional design documents, and other system
documentation required by project lifecycle methodologies.
2.. Identify and evaluate business process improvement opportunities for
existing applications.
3.. Assist in project estimation and planning activities.
4.. Assist the Project Manager in identifying and managing project issues,
risks, and scope creep.
Other Job Duties:
1.. Work closely with business users and technical staff to understand
business processes and develop subject matter expertise in systems and
applications that support those business users' needs.
2.. Actively participate in project meetings.
3.. Assist in the preparation of the testing strategy and execution of test
plans.
Job Requirements:
B.A., B.S.
3 - 5 years experience as an Analyst in an IT related field
Office applications, including Word, Excel, and MS Project.
