Remedy Developer Duration: 12 months Denver , CO Rate: 55/HR GENERAL PURPOSE: Develops, codes, test, and debugs new software of enhancements to existing software. Responsible for retrieval of data from existing systems, and automation of retrieval methods. Responsible for support and maintenance of Remedy based systems. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Has good understanding of business application. 2. Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them. 3. Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. 4. Assists in development of software user manuals. 5. Demonstrates software. 6. Assists in the development of assignments and schedules. NATURE OF WORK CONTACTS: Reports to Application Developer IV or Manager. Interfaces with ICG groups and internal/external customers. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field and two to four years of experience or a Master’s degree preferred and up to two years experience. Outstanding customer service skills. Strong organizational skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage and prioritize projects. Must successfully pass a criminal background investigation. Development skills in Remedy required. Skill in web services preferred. PHYSICAL/SENSORY DEMANDS: Normal Office Environment. Extensive Computer Use.
