Requirements : *

• Experienced in SAP Basis (Min. 6 years).
• Hands-on project and administration experience with both WAS
ABAP and WAS JAVA systems on Windows and UNIX OS and Oracle database
platform .
• SAP ERP and PI system installation experience is a must.
• Database backup and restore experience.*
• Transport system and client administration experience.
• Installation, import/export of WorkBench Objects, Client copy,
transports creation.
• Assistance to Development Team, Clients, Delivery Services,
Technical Support and other staff on problem resolution and system
modification design and implementation activities.
• Able to work independently on SAP projects, with ability to
troubleshoot and resolve SAP system issues.
• Knowledge on other SAP tools / modules such as EP / ABAP / XI
/ Workflow or other OS (AIX)/database (MSSQL).
• Installations, import/export of WorkBench Objects, Client
copy, transport creation.
• Perform transfer of all application changes from development
environment to the QA environment to production release
• Support packs and patches
• System upgrades
• System refreshes (test and sandbox environments)
• SAP security: maintenance (IDs; roles & profiles)
• Independent software applications (Solution Manager,
Saprouter, etc.)
• Help and system documentation
• JAVA and ABAP stack maintenance Skills and Experiences :
• Must demonstrate a proficiency in main Basis areas, tuning and
setup
• At least 5 years experience supporting hardware and software
environment to the current installed environment ( including, but not
limited to Oracle, SAP ERP and XI, WebAS and SQL Server on
UNIX and / or Windows).
• Some UNIX knowledge is a must.
• Java is big plus
• General IT skills Other skills essential for this assignment:
• Ability to explain technically complex solutions in simple
terms. Well organized and dependable.
• Ability to work with very little supervision.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills.
