Location: New York, NY (Local) Duration: Full Time Position Description: Our client, a leading provider of global connectivity and trading solutions in New York, is looking for a Senior Project Manager to work under the responsibility of the Head of Managed Services. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be involved in different types of projects ranging from Low Latency DMA to Global Order Routing Networks. In this role, you will direct and manage the development of project plans from beginning to end, and create and execute project plans and revisions as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. The Senior Project Manager will identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities, as well as manage day-to-day operational aspects of assigned managed services projects. You will interface with external third party vendors and clients' internal teams in relation to the projects assigned (i.e. Market Data, Data Centers, Connectivity, etc.) This roles involves heavy client facing responsibilities, previous experience in this capacity is essential. The Senior Project Manager will prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures, and manage exchange connectivity projects with global liquidity pools. This person will ensure project documents are completed, current, and stored appropriately, and create templates, processes and structures to streamline future project implementations. You will be responsible for leading communication and interaction with several internal teams/task forces. As a Senior Project Manager, you will identify and manage project dependencies and identify potential crises and devise contingency plans. Additionally, you will develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations, as well as build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
