Good Afternoon,
I have two contract openings in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Both
positions are one year contracts and could last as long as two years.
Please look at the two descriptions listed below and let me know if you have
any candidates available.
Position #1: Sr. Java Developer/Test Engineer
Duration: 1-2 years
Location: Elk Grove, Illinois
Rate: $DOE per hour
We are looking for a senior level Java Developer that has tested their own
code, built and run test scripts. The candidate must have extensive Unix
and Shell Scripting experience. Strong communication skills are also a key
qualification.
- Strong Java/JEE development experience
- Strong software QA expertise with skills in building test cases/test
scripts as well as using automated testing tools.
- Strong Unix/Shell scripting experience
- Knowledge of business rule engines
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to adapt to project scope changes
- Ability to deliver on aggressive deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in the Credit Card or related industry is a nice to have
They want someone that is able to do back end Java development as well as
QA. They don't have a QA team so they basically want someone that knows
enough to be able to understand their entire application development process
thoroughly enough to be able to do QA at any point. Including in the java
development portion where they will need to be able to test scripts and
build tests cases, but because this is QA for business apps if they don't
have enough work for this person they want them to be able to transition
into coding when needed.
Position #2: C Developer/Test Engineer
Location: Elk Grove, Illinois
Duration: 1-2 years
Rate: $DOE per hour
We are looking for a Sr. C Developer that can test their own code, write and
create test scripts. Strong Unix and Shell Scripting experience is
required.
Candidate:
- Strong C/C++ development experience
- Strong software QA expertise with skills in building test cases/test
scripts as well as using automated testing tools.
- Strong Unix/Shell scripting experience
- Knowledge of business rule engines
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to adapt to project scope changes
- Ability to deliver on aggressive deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

testing C/Unix/Shell scripts).
They want someone that is able to do C/C++ development as well as QA. They
don't have a QA team so they basically want someone that knows enough to be
able to understand their entire application development process

portion where they will need to be able to test scripts and build tests
cases Because this is QA for business apps if they don't have enough work
for this person they want them to be able to transition into coding when
needed.
