I am currently working on a *6 month contract to hire* opportunity located
in *New York, NY (Midtown).* the end client and they are looking for a *Data
Warehouse ETL Developer/Admin. who* *would be responsible for the MS BI
development utilizing SSRS, SSIS, SSAS. *The pay rate for this position is
*45/hr. *A face to face (onsite) interview would be required and local
candidates are preferred. The* *job description is attached- please send
over any qualified candidates that are available for contract.
*Data Warehouse/ETL*
- Responsible for MS BI development utilizing MS Reporting Services,
Integration Services and Analysis Services as well as Performance Point.
- Work closely with Business Analyst to understand business
requirements/needs
- Develop data warehouse and OLAP cube solutions
- Modeling and integrating data
- Expanding/creating analytical cubes and data marts
- Creating cube design documents, developing reports and dashboards
- 5+ years overall Microsoft Business Intelligence experience (prefer
cable or media experience)
- Strong background in data warehousing, data modeling, data integration
and implementation and cube analysis
- Experience working closely with end users to determine business needs
and requirements
- Experience with SQL Server (including 2008 highly preferred)
- Preferred Software Experience:
- SQL Server Management Studio SSMS
- SQL Business Intelligence Development Services BIDS
- SQL Server Integration Services SSIS
- SQL Server Analysis Services SSAS
- SQL Server Reporting Services SSRS
- Team Foundation Services TFS
- SharePoint
- Microsoft certifications (MCAD, MCSD, MCTS/MCPD) highly desirable, but
not required.
- Must excel working in a team environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
