Good Afternoon, We have 2 QA requirements open with our client, in Waltham, MA. Duration : 6 Months ,Hourly rate max $40/hr Phone interviews are scheduled for next Friday, September 10th. *Personal interviews in Waltham will be required. * ** Responsibilities: The QA Analysts will be performing stress testing and integration testing of .Net applications (web-based, transactional processing applications) on a Microsoft platform (SQL Server, Windows 2003/2008). Most of the testing is currently manual, however, Wolters Kluwer is increasing the amount of automated testing and is currently using QTP and Quality Center. Candidates must have both manual and automated testing experience and must have experience with QTP. Candidates must have experience with framework automation in QuickTestPro. The Analysts will be participating in functional specification reviews, developing test plans, writing test scripts, and tracking defects through the software development life cycle. The QA Analysts will be working heavily with the business users and Business Analysts to understand why the application is breaking and determine the root cause in order to fix the application appropriately. As the applications are financial, experience within the financial services industry and testing financial applications is a must. In particular, the QA Analysts must have knowledge of securities/brokerage applications and/or cost basis applications. Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills as they will be working closely with users on a daily basis. Requirements: - 3+ years manual testing - 1+ year automated testing - Stress testing and Integration testing of .Net applications - QTP - Quality Center - Experience testing web-based applications - Financial Services industry experience - Excellent written and verbal communication - Ability to work onsite in Waltham, MA - Ability to pass a state and federal background check Desired experience: - Team Foundation Server - Degree in Computer Science - Certifications Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
