Need to be able to interview next Wednesday Thursday or Friday and start on the 13th Works closely with Art Director, New Media to provide fresh ideas and development assistance for new website initiatives. Takes a very active role during brainstorming meetings and artistic and functional conception. Researches and experiments with new design techniques and technologies. Works with Art Director, New Media and Web Developers to provide static templates and CSS styles to tech leads for dynamic coding. Should be outspoken about design ideas, and should be able to work within a creative team to achieve a common goal. Strong communication skills a must. Requirements * Bachelor's degree a plus. * 3-5 years of experience in web design in an agency environment. * Detail oriented. * Must be able to manage workload independently & accurately. * Must be able to ensure functionality in all browsers with market share greater than 5%. * Experience with Photoshop, Flash, JavaScript, CSS, XHTML, XML. * Experience with object-oriented programming and database design. * Experience designing with Content Management Systems (Drupal, DotNetNuke, Sharepoint) highly desired. * Experience with video production a plus. * Experience with audio production a plus. * Experience with a 3d design studio a plus. Key focus areas (must haves) Strong CSS, XHTML, and JavaScript...those are the most important skills. Photoshop competency is a must, as well...but that doesn't necessarily mean they have to be creative. Would really like someone with some .net environment experience...but not completely necessary.
