*Location : Bentonville, AR*

*Duration :  6 months*



As a Data Architect, you are responsible for translating business data
requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
You will design physical database solutions, integration strategies and
business intelligence frameworks.
You will interact with client executives and project teams to gain
understanding of business problems and collaborate on an appropriate
solution and effectively lead the implementation.
You will work with the client Sales organization to develop solutions and
client proposals.
You will represent the Data Intelligence  practice in client presentations.

Experience in leading and championing enterprise data management and
business intelligence initiatives is required.



Vision - The Data Architect needs to be able to have an end-to-end vision,
and to see how a logical design will translate into one or more physical
Databases, and how the Data will flow through the successive Stages
involved. He (or she) will need to be able to address issues of Data
Migration (Validation, Clean-up and Mapping), and will need to understand
the importance of Data Dictionaries and Meta Data.



Technical Activities:



Help gather and document business data requirements

Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models

Develop a physical database design

Apply data design standards and guidelines

Verify that data models accurately reflect business requirements and data
usage

Develop and steward data model meta-data

Document and facilitate resolution of data-related project issues

Manage data-related project defects

Manage data redundancy appropriately

Promote reuse of data and related processes

Assist in the development and implementation of data administration
standards and guidelines

Mentor others on Company data design process

Understands New Releases and Migration Impacts

Generates Documentation and Training for Staff

Develop and enforce metadata standards
