*Title: Junior System Administrator* *Location : FL* *Duration : Long term* *Rate: $35* Responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, access, and backup for enterprise wide systems. Technologies supported include operating systems, servers, networks, system security, hardware and other software applications. Troubleshoot system issues, resolve or recommend solutions. Create and manage system documentation, including configurations and backup procedures. Create patches and updates as needed. Participate in the definition and implementation of system components including new servers, hardware, software and upgrades. Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot operating systems. Must possess solid knowledge of operating systems and networking hardware and software. 0-2 years of experience functioning in a Systems Administrator capacity is required. Immediate scope of work: · Install new version of SCOM in Production. o Install and configure necessary DB’s o Configure Reporting Services o Configure notification relay to TND o Coordinate agent installations · Work with system SME to develop, test and implement monitoring strategies for high priority systems. o Exchange o SharePoint o Citrix o AD o EV · Code any custom monitors as needed. · Update management pack to current levels. · Transfer management knowledge of system monitoring profile to corollary SME for system monitored. · Document entire infrastructure and process flows. · Work on tasks related to any new products that we’d like monitored. · Potentially implement System Center Configuration Manager for another Director's team while benefitting us as well.
