Hi, We are looking for a solid SQL developer to join the client for 4 to 6 months assignments with the following qualification, * * *Urgent need for SQL BI Developers* *Location: Redmond WA* *Duration: 4-6 Months* *Rate: $40/hr** * * * * * *Primary responsibilities include: * Effectively communicate technical problems, requirements, and alternatives to team members and client groups. Understand systems direction and strategy, and proactively lead measures to ensure consistency and compliance. Produce metrics, reports, systems documentation, technical diagrams, and training materials, as needed, to describe key processes. Delivery of functional specifications and logical data models for relational or OLAP based data architectures. Development of complex systems process flows and work closely with other project team members to determine appropriate data sources and strategic technology architectures. Rationalize functional requirements, assist with development of prioritization of business needs, and make recommendations to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Planning and tracking of multiple inter-dependent work streams. Schedule, resource and budgetary management. Provide technical insight to complex data problems with key understanding of the upstream OLTP systems. Assist and guide testing activities during the project process and be a point of escalation during integration and user acceptance testing. Proactively look for opportunities to optimize the engineering process for quality and time to market for business solutions. *BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:* 7+ years of systems analysis and systems/application experience with emphasis on data modeling or business intelligence in a SQL server environment. 7+ years program management experience with proven track-record in delivery of multiple complex IT systems. Proven ability in dealing with project complexity such as resource and budgetary constraints, prioritization conflicts and technical issues while providing leadership to one or more project teams. Candidate should have a strong technical knowledge of database essentials, software architecture, and Microsoft business intelligence products . Detailed understanding of business intelligence strategies and implementation approaches. Strong critical thinking skills, including troubleshooting, problem analysis and resolution, good judgment/decision making ability required. Must have excellent project team leadership skills and customer focused attitude. Must be able to communicate technical and business problems in a non-technical manner. A genuine passion for technology and desire to increase technical skill level is a must.
