Contract is 6-12 months and the manager may want to bring this resource on as an employee so must be able to go perm. Rate is around $40/hour. Please send qualifed candidates ASAP. This is a QA testing position with a development background in PL/SQL. The team runs an Oracle 11g database and then they manipulate the oracle environment. This resource would do a lot of backend testing and look through issues within the data through back end query writing. This is an automated testing environment and they use Selenium but exposure to the tool is not required. The candidate is gong to test large volumes of data. The team is in charge of 5-6 large applications that they support and test for bugs and changes. Unix is a secondary skill set. Communication skills are important because the candidate will provide frequent status reports to karen.
