Administrator (Contract Position)*
Location: Northbrook, IL
Pay rate: Market
Duration: 5 plus Months
*Responsibilities:*
Perform MS Project & Project Server Timekeeping User Support as needed.
Maintain Users in project server (weekly additions and deletions)
Add new users to existing projects and accept weekly time on projects
Provide One-On-One training sessions for new users as needed on PWA time
entry
Update Time Compliance Report
Help design & run Business Objects Reports when needed
Update Monthly Report Packages
Maintenance and support of Project Server servers (testing is needed when
corporate security patches are installed).
1. Perform Analysis on Project Server Data
2. Create or update SQL Server queries to perform analysis and
reporting as needed.
3. Maintain User Documentation
4. Troubleshoot MS Project & Project Server application
functional/technical issues
5. Create and support yearly Administration & Support plans
6. Create/update project plan templates as needed
Assist with requirements development for 2011 plan structure
*Required Qualifications:*
- 2+ years of Project Server administration & development experience
- Enterprise environment experience
- Project Server 2007 implementation experience
- SharePoint 2007 experience
- Windows Server Administration Experience
- Business Objects experience
Should have working knowledge of: MS Project, MS Project Server, SQL Server,
SharePoint Services, Windows Server Administration
Requires bachelor's degree (in Computer Science or related field) or
equivalent, and four to six years of related experience
Functional knowledge of Project Server v12: Configuration & standard
customization, Reporting
Data Model / Data schema, PWA and possible SharePoint Integration
Knowledge of previous versions of Project Server desired.
