I have a client in *Boston* looking for a *Service Monitor Engineer* . The duration is *3 month* min and the *rate is open.* Job decription is below - Install HP Business Service Management (HP BSM) and maintain upgrades for servers and agents, including BSM collection and reporting databases - Provide operational trouble-shooting of BSM related monitoring components - Install and deploy HP Discovery & Dependency Manage and HP Site Scope – including discovery filters and configuration, event integration and configuration, trap templates, map creation - Provide development and support services for new end to end monitoring capabilities by applying subject matter expertise in the areas of HP suite including BSM, BPM, Transaction Vision, SiteScope. - Design and develop end to end monitoring dashboards using the HP suite for assigned applications that include data from HP suite including synthetic transactions, real user data, service level compliance, infrastructure, application, and database. - Develop a standard usage model for BSM that is extensible and repeatable for other applications. - Develop, implement, and aggregate data for enterprise SOA services KPIs into BSM including but not limited to infrastructure KPI (cpu, mem, network, disk, etc), OS KPI, services, processes, and middleware. - Develop, implement, and aggregate data for Oracle and SQL database KPI into BSM including but not limited to logging tables and stored application data - Work with Architecture & Operations team to cross train resources during technology development and delivery stages. *Required Skills*: - Technical engineer with experience for medium scale, cross organizational based projects. - Ability to manage and deliver on multiple threads within aggressive timelines and shifting priorities. - Hands on experience with System Administration of multiple operating systems (such as Linux, AIX, HP-UX, Windows) - Familiar with instrumenting and monitoring products that may participate in a SOA infrastructure such as HP Open View, HP Business Service Management, (BSM) IBM Datapower ESB Appliance, Fuse ESB, HP Systinet Registry, IBM MQ - Familiar with technologies for virtualization, storage/SAN, clustering - Experience installing and configuring Middleware/J2EE – Jboss, Websphere, Weblogic, JMX protocol - Understanding of Web Services and XML - Scripting - perl, ksh-shell, bash, ability to create and maintain monitoring scripts - Network knowledge - SNMP protocol, routing protocols, networking hardware and capabilities, firewalls/DMZs *Desired Skills: * - Knowledge of enterprise SOA concepts and products - Hands-on experience with enterprise services monitoring and governance tools; specifically HP Business Service Management (BSM) - Familiarity with ITIL - change and configuration mgmt process - Familiar with technologies for virtualization, storage/SAN, clustering - Basic understanding of database access (Oracle, SQL Server) -- Thanks & Regards, Tommy jibin Technical Recruiter Ibis Tech International (Formally known as Hi range Technology) 906 Lacey Avenue Suite 106 Lisle; Illinois: 60532 Ph: 630 929 5198 Fax: 630-969-2722 [email protected] [email protected] www.ibisint.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
