Oracle DBA Contract duration-6 month contract conversion effort Pay Rate-Up to $55 per hour corp. to corp. (Please be competitive) Job Responsibilities-Initially this role would predominantly involve Oracle DBA responsibilities. They would like this person to perform backups, recovery, installations of machines, upgrade lists and updates. They are currently using Oracle 9.9 and would like to migrate to 11.2 (Oracle 9, 10 or 11 experience is okay). This person will also be writing MySQL tables/designs. They would like this person to be able to perform Linux administration tasks. He concentrated more on the Oracle abilities so I think Linux is secondary but still needed. Required Skills-Oracle DBA and Developer background (In versions 9, 10 or 11).
