Hi We are looking for a *SCOM Engineer - Redmond, WA*.* *This is a 3 Months contract position. The hourly rate is DOE * * *Project Description: *** Major Responsibilities and day to day activities and/or objective for the role: The SCOM Engineer will be responsible for writing functional and technical documents for SCOM management packs, as well as assisting with the engineering of new SCOM management packs. The ideal candidate will have a solid understand the fundamentals of SCOM (running, tuning, and management pack creation.) This role will have a high level of client interaction, so strong communication and customer service skills are an absolute must. Previous consulting experience is highly preferred. Technical writing experience is also strongly preferred. Requirements: 1. +1 year of SCOM experience (how health model based monitoring works, running the environment, tuning) 2. 1-3 years of consulting experience 3. Strong communication and customer service skills 4.
