Job Title: Lead ETL Consultant Location: Jacksonville, FL Duration: 3+ Months Must Haves: -Expert knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter 8.6 and later -Practical experience with most common Informatica transformations -Practical experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting -Experience loading dimensional data warehouses -Expert knowledge of SQL -Advanced knowledge or Oracle 10g and later, PL/SQL -Expert abilities in role of Tech Lead on small projects. -Experience with MS SQL Server -Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts -Ability to read and understand data models -Comfortable in UNIX environment and shell scripting Plus: -Understanding of mainframe concepts -Experience with Teradata 12 Day to Day: Description of Position: This position is responsible for the following items: Perform analysis, design, development and production support for client Data Warehouses and other ETL projects and requests; Accurately estimate and document deliverables, task efforts and time lines; Develop technical specifications based on functional requirements; Provide technical assistance and guidance to team members; Escalate product issues and suggest product improvements; Participate in group application design & architecture activities; After hours/Weekend Oncall activities Essential Skill Requirements: Strong understanding of database warehouse design and development on an Oracle platform; Teradata background a plus, Excellent analytical, technical aptitude and problem solving skills; committed to a quality end product with a positive attitude and superior work ethic; strong communication (verbal and written), time management skills, fast learner, self-motivated and comfortable taking initiative and handling multiple projects simultaneously; team oriented with good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers and product management team.
