Position: SAP Payroll/Time Mgmt Consult

 Description:

 

      Sr. SAP Payroll/Time Mgmt Cons to drive client support and process 
enhancement. The consultant will lead client meetings, requirements gathering, 
design and implementation of solutions based on industry best practices which 
best support client needs.
     
      Complete Description: 
      The Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration is seeking a senior 
level HR Consultant to work with the Office of Information Services, Office of 
Personnel Management and other agencies of the State to analyze current 
business practices and system design, and identify and implement best business 
practices for Human Resources, focusing primarily in the areas of payroll and 
time and leave administration. The State of Arkansas uses the SAP Business 
Suite for administrative functions. The system is currently using ECC 6.with 
Industry solution - Public Sector. 

      The candidate should have previous experience with a management 
consulting firm or SAP in driving client buy-in and closing deals. He/she must 
be experienced in interpreting user requirements/design specifications and 
provide detailed definition on how the applications will support business 
requirements. The right person is able to evaluate the entire Human Resource 
environment, make best practice recommendations and direct solutions. The 
candidate must be experienced in delivering high-level best practice 
presentations and well versed in project management. 

      The position will be responsible for: 
      Obtaining best practice solution buy-in from State agencies and the 
Office of Personnel Management 
      Coordinating and conducting meetings with State agencies, the Office of 
Personnel Management as well as AASIS Service Center Management 
      Managing efforts to gather Human Resource requirements from State 
agencies and the Office of Personnel Management 
      Making best practice HR business process recommendations to the Office of 
Personnel Management 
      Working with Office of Personnel Management to implement improvements 
      Recommending software solutions to support the client's HR process 
requirements 
      Ensuring business requirements are supported by system functionality 
      Providing standard, well-structured planning and detailed documentation 
      Leading functional team in application design
