Good Morning,
I have a new Requirement for a QA with java development
background.
Rate: $40/hr
Duration: 1 year
Location: Downtown chicago
Interview Process: Phone screen than Face to Face.
Looking for someone with a good java background, Automation background
(prefer selenium), strong SQL skills, and clearcase is nice to have.
Recruiting for a tester that will Work with a team and independently on the
creation and maintenance of test cases. The test cases created should not
only be tailored for manual execution but for automation as well.
Top 3 Skills:
Strong SQL skills on SQL Server or Oracle
Solid development background - core Java
Automation Experience - Selenium preferred not required
Required Skill Sets for Position:
-QA tester with a development background is preferred
-Proficiency in PL/SQL with ability to demonstrate intermediate to advanced
query writing skills
-Back end testing experience of being able to compare DB2 vs Oracle tables
-Working knowledge in Spring Batch, Java and LINUX
-Self-motivated and only require minimum supervision once tasks have been
identified
-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-changing environment
-Willingness to devote the necessary time and effort to meet project
deadlines
-Attention to detail is a must
-Experience in decomposing requirements into testable conditions
-Automated test script creation (in Selenium via Eclipse and Command line)
-Automated test script execution
-Good oral and written communication skills (ability to articulate findings
and be ready to interact with both Admin and Development teams)
Desired Skill Sets (a plus):
-Understanding of trading concepts
