Developers are expected to unit test. Very good communication skills are required, as the resource will work with the business and Business Analyst, work against the Requirements Traceability Matrix, etc. The resource will need hands on experience with the ANSI X12 transactions and not just training or knowledge or the transactions. The resource will design, construct, unit test and implement the changes – SIT and UAT testing are done by another group. The resource will create design documents from architecture documents they receive from the Lead and will use their own design document to make coding changes and unit test these changes.
