POS: Performance Engineer LOC: Denver, CO Duraiton: 5 Months They need 2 Performance Engineers to start ASAP. Performance Engineer with a strong Performance Engineering background. Need someone with experience in code optimization. 2-3 years experience with stress testing and profiling Java applications; 5+ years experience coding in Java; Very strong debugging and problem solving skills. Must be very detail oriented. Hands on experience working with IBM's RAD IDE. Experience with stress testing and code profiling software (e.g., JMeter, Introscope, JProbe, and/or JProfiler); Working in a fast paced environment with a focus on result and reporting. Experience with Load testing software. This individual must be experienced in coming into a project and analyzing their code and be able to make suggestions. Need someone who has experience in different type of environments. Here were my notes: needs a Performance Engineer. Someone with code optimization experience. Someone who is what he called a bull dog with details. Really digs into everything and gets the details on something that the average developer would miss. Strong debugger. Performance background is key. He wants someone who has gone into an environment before and analyzed the code for performance issues, etc. Will need to come up to speed quickly on what the team is doing, and how the application performs.
