This RFQ requires one or more resources to temporarily join our staff with
the intent of joining the IT staff as a fulltime staff member. Any resource
submitted for the contract to hire positions must have the following skills:
· Advanced knowledge of the development life cycle including testing
process and methods, variable programming fundamentals, conditional
execution, data structures, compilation and debugging tools
· Advanced Java EE development skills with use of related
technologies, concepts and products such as EJB 2.0/3.0, JMS, JSF, WebLogic
and Websphere MQ.
· Proven organizational, analytical, and creative problem solving
skills. Excellent written and oral communication. Ability to prioritize,
multi-task, and meet deadlines.
· *This position is accountable for all technical decisions as it
relates to assigned projects.* Generally, this will include Java EE
technologies, but, may include other technologies such as .NET, C, database
schema, etc. Technical resources will be assigned with these skill-sets,
but it will be the responsibility of the technical lead to direct and manage
their work.
*Experience:*
· 6 years technical work experience in a software development
environment that required advanced Java EE-based programming on web or
client/server applications, working independently and in a team-based
environment.
· 2 year experience with message-based architecture (web
services/SOA).
· 2 year of use cases and UML required.
· Experience coordinating multiple software development resources or
teams.
· Experience working with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server
or Sybase).
*Education:*
· Bachelors degree in Computer Science; Engineering, Math or
Business with an emphasis on Management Information Systems, or related
technical field.
