Hi, Client is looking for a *.Net Developer (DojoToolkit) - NYC, NY. *This is for a* long-term *contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE. Local candidates only, F2F required…. *Description:* * * Required Skills/Experience (Skills that the successful candidate(s) must have) Must have a minimum of 5 years of .NET experience Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in object oriented programming Must have a minimum of 5 years of Web development using C# & ASP.NET. Javascript (DojoToolkit strongly preferred), and familiar with the Visual Studio 2005 environment. Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in using Microsoft products involving VBA (especially Excel) Must have at least basic understanding of database concepts (Experience with large databases preferred). Must have a deep understanding of object oriented programming concepts Must be able to develop in an Iterative and Incremental environment Must be able to work in a project with many changes. Good interpersonal, communication and documentation skills Must be able to travel within the metro area Additional Skills (Skills that are a plus, but not required) Knowledge of Java Knowledge of Oracle Knowledge of Google Visualization Library Knowledge of QT Toolkit (Cross-Platform GUI Library) Knowledge of WinForms Knowledge of C/C++ Knowledge of Multithreading Assignment 1) Successful candidate will lead development of beta stage web-based stray voltage tracking system. Developer must be able to handle some database administration work as well. In addition to tracking, developer must implement reports and visualizations to help management understand the gathered data. The application is written in ASP.NET/C#, and uses the Dojo Toolkit JavaScript library. Developer must have experience with all of these technologies, especially the Dojo Toolkit. Key job functions include but not limited to Plan and develop automated/adhoc reports Plan and implement features to increase flexibility of the application Design and implement a search form Work with data entry employees that uses the system to track events to improve the application (minimize possibility of bad data) Update application to capture more data, and bring in more data automatically. 2) Successful candidate will work with a University (and possibly other institutions/universities) to replicate and improve an existing University structure ranking system. Candidate will be fielding questions from University and other universities to help clarify information and investigating data anomalies. Candidate will also be verifying findings. Once processes for finalized, the candidate will be implementing their ranking system inside of the the client system to work with new datasets and various boroughs.
